Our last Career Day on April 17th, 2024, was hosted at the vibrant Volkshotel in Amsterdam. It featured dynamic presentations, interactive workshops, networking drinks, and a bustling company fair with industry giants like The Social Hub, Philips, Procter & Gamble, Bridgestone, Dapper, DEPT Agency, Schaal X, Creative Clicks, and Group Mapping.

As a member of the MAA Career Day committee, you’ll play a crucial role in organizing and enhancing this event. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with numerous companies, build valuable relationships, and contribute to making this year’s Career Day even more successful than before. Chair

As the Chair, you’ll lead and coordinate a dynamic team in organizing one of our most anticipated events. Your role involves setting deadlines, ensuring timely task completion, and fostering a motivated team atmosphere. You’ll be the main point of contact for both committee members and the board, driving the success of the event while honing your leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Vice-Chair

The Vice-Chair plays a crucial role in both organizing our flagship career event and managing its budget. You’ll oversee the event’s financial aspects, handle student applications and communications, and support the Chair in coordinating the team. Your dual responsibilities will enhance your organizational and financial skills while contributing to a standout career experience for students.

Marketing

As the Marketeer, you’ll be the driving force behind raising awareness and promoting the event across all communication channels. Your role involves crafting engaging content, coordinating with the Media & Branding committee, and executing a comprehensive marketing plan to ensure maximum visibility and impact. Your creativity and strategic planning will play a key role in attracting attendees and showcasing the event’s value.

4x Acquistion

The Acquisition team for the MAA Career Day will be at the forefront of securing company participation for the event. You’ll be responsible for reaching out to potential partners, negotiating terms, and securing contracts, ensuring a diverse and exciting lineup for attendees. Your efforts will directly impact the event’s success and provide valuable networking opportunities for both students and companies.

Event coordinator

The Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing all logistical aspects of the event. This includes selecting and securing the venue, managing catering and other event essentials, coordinating participant registration, and ensuring smooth operations on the event day. The role demands strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
