Personal development is a core value of the MAA. The Training & Development (T&D) committee organizes a number of training sessions and workshops throughout the year to prepare students for their professional business life. Potential themes for the workshops are personal branding, resume training or Photoshop. It is up to the committee which theme fits best for the time of year. This committee also organizes position-specific training sessions for active members to help them get the most out of the year.

The committee consists of:


The Chairman is responsible for making sure that the committee members do their jobs and guide them where needed. The Chairman leads the meetings and is the person of trust for the committee.
“Manage the strategy in a team full of creative people.”


The Vice-chairman is responsible for all the administrative work for the committee. She is the communication point for the participants at the training. Meaning sending confirmation e-mails, making sure everyone has the right information at the right time and he or she will take the minutes during meetings.
“Own the budget and supervise the registrations.”


It’s nice that we offer trainings, but of course our members need to be aware of the trainings as well. The Marketeer gets creative in online and offline marketing to make students aware of our trainings and to apply.
“Devise and develop a marketing strategy.”


The Sales person makes sure there are companies to give trainings is the task of the Sales person. He calls companies to ask whether they want to give a training for the MAA.
“Step out of your comfort zone and create a professional network.”
