Join Amsterdam Marketing Event!

You will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with notable companies! You will get to enjoy presentations from global organizations, join workshops with the best suitable company for you and enjoy a refreshing recruitment lunch. And of course, the day will end with networking drinks!

The full-day event allows you to get to know various prominent companies, such as Philips and Newcraft. This year’s theme centralizes around the question “How to make an impact” while keeping an eye on future prospects.

The organizations will share their views on what awaits the future marketeer and how one creates a better future in a constantly fluctuating world. Make sure not to miss out!

The participation fee is €6 for members and €10 for non-members. The ticket includes participation in workshops, presentations, recruitment lunch, and networking drinks.

Please note that after signing up, we will contact you within two weeks and ask you to send in your resume and your workshop preferences.

We will use this information to match you with the right workshop and company. Although we will be taking all preferences into account, we cannot guarantee that you will be matched with your first choice. This occasion will be a great opportunity for self and professional development!

Based on a current marketing theme a challenging program is composed for students in the last phase of their studies. This year the event will be accessible for internationals again. The event contains a versatile full day program of interactive presentations, workshops, recruitment lunches and network drinks from leading companies.

Because of the diversity of partners contributing to this event, we offer students an opportunity to get in contact with different types of companies. This is an informal way to make the first contact with possible future employers. In the past, companies like L’Oréal, & Samhoud, IBM, Unilever, CocaCola and Microsoft joined our Marketing Event.

The committee consists of:

Chairman
The Chairman is responsible for the flow of the committee. Making sure that everyone knows what to do and to remain their planning. The Chairman always leads the meetings.
“Keep the team working together in harmony.”
Vice-Chairman
The Vice-Chairman is responsible for all the money that goes into the budget. The treasurer loves numbers. Additionally, the treasurer also is the contact person for the participants. The treasurer will keep lists of participants and sends out e-mails to keep everyone up to date.
“Own the budget and supervise the registrations.”
Marketeer
The Marketeer of the Amsterdam Marketing Events makes sure that students and alumni are aware of the existence of the event and its theme. The Marketeer will do this by creating posters, flyers, and by being active on the MAA’s social media platforms.
“Devise and develop a marketing strategy.”
2 x Sales
The Sales position is responsible that there are companies giving presentations at the event. Calling is a favorite for the Sales person and he does not take no for an answer. The Sales person is also responsible for the content for the goodie bags.
“Step out of your comfort zone and create a professional network.”
Event manager
As the name already states, the Event Planner is the one planning the event. You can think of making a planning for all the organizer, make sure there are enough seats for everyone, that there is a person welcoming the participants and the companies, that everyone has a drink, etc. Shortly, a lot of organizing.
“Prepare the event to the last detail and manage to run the day smoothly.”
